Agent skills

Teach Codex or Claude Code Shoplifter’s supported authoring and publication workflows. The English-language skills contain platform-specific instructions and supporting references; the private repository is not required.

The prepared CLI 0.1.10 includes this command; use it after publication. CLI 0.1.8 does not have this command.

Terminal window
shoplifter skills install --agent codex
shoplifter skills install --agent claude
shoplifter skills install --agent all
shoplifter skills install --agent all --version 0.1.1
shoplifter skills install --agent codex --global

The required agent option selects Codex, Claude Code or both. Installation defaults to the current directory, under .agents/skills/ for Codex and .claude/skills/ for Claude Code. --global uses those folders under your home instead. Check project-local skill folders into your project if your team should share them.

The installer downloads the newest bundle compatible with its CLI and pinned SDK versions. It verifies SHA-256 and validates every archive path before writing. Identical installs stay unchanged; differing skill folders require --force. Installation never changes agent settings or grants platform access.

Bundle 0.1.1 supports SDK/contract 0.2.x and 0.3.x. Its catalog accepts CLI versions from 0.1.9 up to, but excluding, 0.2.0; the prepared installer release is 0.1.10.

Verify the downloaded ZIP against SHA256SUMS (for example, shasum -a 256 shoplifter-skills.zip). Extract the skill folders into either agent’s skills directory, preserving each SKILL.md and its references/ folder. Start a new agent session if they do not appear.

Ask your agent: “Use shoplifter-presentation-authoring to update this site’s homepage and validate it.” For a delivery review: “Use shoplifter-presentation-publishing to check this project for publication; stop before changing the live site.”

The authoring skill covers contracts, fixtures, components, assets and leads. The publishing skill covers upload inspection, approved runtime synchronization, channel authorization, previews, failures and rollback. Skill installation is separate from permission to publish.
