Getting started

Create a standalone presentation without a monorepo checkout or backend access. Use Node 24; the SDK expects Astro 7.4.4 or a compatible later 7.x version.

Open the local URL printed by Astro. The initialized homepage displays its fixture title. The directory must not already exist; the project ID starts with a lowercase letter and uses lowercase letters, digits and hyphens.

Initialization downloads the CLI’s matching SDK/contract archives from npm with integrity verification and stores them in vendor/. It creates a standalone package with no workspace links. Fixture development and static builds do not need Vendure or a dashboard login.

Run npm run build to produce a static site. Next, read project authoring. For skill installation in the prepared CLI 0.1.10 release, see agent skills; do not expect that command in CLI 0.1.8.
